Service Area: The Friends of the Jackson County Public Library is a local non-profit organization dedicated to promoting our library. Our focus is on raising funds on behalf of the patrons and community to help provide for materials and activities for the adult, teen and children's programs.

Purpose: The Friends seek to maintain and enhance the library services offered to the citizens of Jackson County.

Other: The Board of Directors meets 6 time yearly to oversee the Book Cellar, Book Nook, review funding requests, and prepare for the Annual meeting. Volunteers are needed to: sort books for the book sales; staff book sales; help with stocking the Book Nook; and to assist with Oktoberfest Parking.

Time: January 4, March 7, May 2, July 11, September 12, November 7, Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm (Friends members at 9:30 am and the previous day 4-5:30) $3/bag at 2 pm.
