Purpose: Phi Beta Psi Sorority is a national organization which was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1904. It is not affiliated in any way with a college or university, but is a civic organization. The purpose of Phi Beta Psi is to participate in charitable work, to promote fraternal relationship among its members and to establish and assist other chapters of Phi Beta Psi. Membership eligibility requires that you must be a woman with high moral standards and at least eighteen years old or a high school graduate.
