Name: Freeman Army Airfield Museum

Purpose: To preserve, protect and display artifacts and mementos from the WW-II era of Freeman Army Airfield as an Army Air Force multi-engine training base. On display you will find uniforms, weapons, aircraft models, tools, vehicles, and many aircraft parts from both US and captured enemy planes. We have a Link Trainer, and the original 1942 Ford/American LaFrance fire truck that was at the base during the war.
Hours of Operation: Open Saturday mornings 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, except for holiday weekends, or call for an appointment. Groups welcome.
