Agency Information

Name: Jackson County Learning Center

Purpose: The Jackson County Learning Center provides necessary educational and workforce support services for community members and fosters an atmosphere of lifelong learning and career development. Partners offering classes, workshops, and short term training at JCLC include: Ivy Tech Community College, IUPUC, McDowell Adult Education Center (ABE, HSE, and ELL), Indiana CDL Training Center, Sylvan Learning Center, and WorkOne Southeast. Application assistance and general information regarding college programs and financial aid are provided. Test Proctoring services are also provided for students enrolled in online college classes and degree programs. Classroom and Meeting room space is available for rent for businesses, industry, and organizations needing space for customized training and meetings.

Hours: Office hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Class times vary-call for current schedules
