Purpose: The Sons of the American Revolution is a non-profit, United States 501(c)3, corporation devoted to historical and educational preservation of American revolutionary heritage. As a patriotic lineage society, the organization is comprised of the male descendants of patriots who supported the cause of American Independence during the years 1774-1783
