Name: Daughters of the American Revolution
Category: Service Clubs/Fraternities/Sororities
Purpose: The purpose of DAR is to preserve our American Heritage, and the memory and tradition of our Revolutionary ancestors; to promote and assist in the celebration of the anniversaries of Washington's birthday, Flag Day, Constitution Week, the Fourth of July and other Commemorative and historical events; to actively participate in the work of the Society through the chapter to further its objectives: historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor. Daughters of the American Revolution join with others to foster patriotism and love of country and to aid in securing for mankind all the blessings of liberty.
Hours of Operation: Meetings are on the second Thursday of each month except January, July and August.
